The Plank


The plank exercise is a great way to train the abdominal muscles isometrically.

By pulling your belly button to your spine you are able to engage your deep abdominal and back muscles synergistically to create a “corset” like effect to support your spine.

It is an exercise you can do anywhere, in the gym, at home or on the road.  What a simple and terrific way to improve your core stabilization!
