3 Rules For An Effective Bulking Season!



Bulking is a great way of putting on that extra bit of muscle, especially during the winter season when your abs are under your coat! But it has to be done right, here are 3 rules for an effective bulk!


  • Don't use it as an excuse to overeat - The  most common bulking mistake is that it is used as an excuse to overeat. Eating more calories is a surefire way to add mass but to make it lean mass don't gorge on unhealthy foods.
  • Eat more but not too much - Eating a surplus of calories is going to help you build more mass quickly, however remember that you only need a small calorific surplus. Anything more will lead to fat gain.
  • Don't bulk for too long - Bulking for too long can cause your body's insulin sensitivity to decline. At around 15%bf+ try and start reigning in your bulk!
